= x2 + 6x + 5x + 30
= x (x + 6) + 5 (x + 6)

= x2 + 16x + 2x + 32
= x (x + 16) + 2 (x + 16)
= (x + 16) (x + 2).

Question 3:
x2 + 7x – 18
= x2 + 9x – 2x – 18
= x (x + 9) – 2 (x + 9)
= (x + 9) (x – 2).

x2 + 5x – 6
= x2 + 6x – x – 6
= x (x + 6) – 1 (x+ 6)
